Sun Kwong “Sunny” Mah, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on March 9, 2026 in Richmond, B.C.

Sunny was a beloved pharmacist, mentor, father, uncle, brother and friend. He was unexpectedly taken early from this world but not without leaving a significant impression in our lives. He was an honest, kind and devoted man with an abundant amount of wise words, funny jokes and random quotations.

Sunny has touched the lives of many patients over 48 years and developed meaningful connections with fellow health care professionals to deliver his vision of the parent company Gant’s Prescription Pharmacy (1978) Ltd. and subsidiary company Service Plus Pharmacy (光揚藥方). He wholeheartedly committed his final moments to ensuring the pharmacy operations continued and patient care wasn’t affected.

Sunny, with his unwavering faith in God, joins his predeceased wife, Tsai Yuan Lin, and parents, Lai Kui Mah and Wai Man Mah, in heaven. May he now rest in peace completely free from physical pain and mental suffering.
