It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Summer. Born on February 14, 2012, Summer left us over the rainbow bridge after 13 years, leaving a void that cannot be filled.

Summer, sometimes known as Summy, was cherished by her family. Summer particularly enjoyed steak and salmon, water and ice cubes and carrying water bottles. Summer had a diverse music taste, loving anything with a beat. Her favorite television shows included the Puppy Bowl, General Hospital and any sports with a ball.

She loved long walks and was a passionate supporter of her brother's sports teams. Fetch was her game of choice, which she played with unmatched enthusiasm and then enjoyed chewing bones and long naps.

Summer loved exploring different places, with the beach, pools, and ponds on top of her list. Her favorite local spots were Kantor Park and East County Park, along with attending her brother’s games.

Summer, you were the best dog we could have ever asked for. From the moment you came into our lives, you filled our days with love, joy, and endless companionship. Your loyalty and affection touched each of us in a special way, and we will cherish those memories for the rest of our lives.

Your departure has left a profound hole in our family. The house feels emptier without your playful spirit and comforting presence. Yet, we find solace in knowing that you are now in a better place, free from pain and discomfort. We can picture you running free, playing with your friends who went before you, and awaiting our reunion one day.

Thank you for all the happiness you brought us. We will always love you, Summer. You will forever hold a special place in our hearts. You loved us all of your life and we will love you for the rest of ours.
