sue's obituary

Sue Shuford, born on May 23, 1943, in Pensacola, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2025, in Anderson, South Carolina. She was 82 years old. Sue pursued her education with dedication and earned a degree in psychology from Georgia State University. Her academic achievement reflected her deep interest in understanding people and the world around her. Throughout her life, Sue found joy and fulfillment in caring for animals. She had a special place in her heart for her dogs and took great pleasure in tending to outdoor wildlife. Her compassion extended beyond people to all living creatures, and those who knew her will remember the gentle way she nurtured the natural world around her. Sue was preceded in death by her father Harrill Shuford, mother Jean M. Shuford, brother Harrill F. Shuford, and her beloved son Frank Reagan. She is lovingly remembered by Gary Reagan and his wife Claire, along with their children Garrett and Georgia; as well as Jeff Reagan and his wife Michelle  and their children Kassidy and Brandon. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May Sue’s memory bring comfort to those who mourn her passing and inspiration to those who carry forward the kindness she showed throughout her life.
