Sue's obituary
February 1, 1946 - March 9, 2020
Sue was born in San Diego, lived in California, and moved to Oregon in 1979. She came to Newport in late 1991. She went through medical school at the University of California to become a Physical Therapist.
As a Physical Therapist, she served communities in Napa Valley, Wilsonville, Oregon City, and Newport. She often worked home health, visiting patients who couldn’t come in and making their lives better. This was her mission - making lives better, as anyone who knew her would attest.
She was also an avid gardener, with a lovely collection of orchids, and a dedicated birdwatcher. She will be sorely missed.
She is survived by her brother, James Martin, her sister, Doris Martin, her son, Jeremy Martin, daughter-in-law, Jasmin Huang, and two grandsons, Liam and Quinn.
Due to the current pandemic, there will be no official gathering. Contact me if you'd like to share a moment. Otherwise, as Sue would completely understand, find a quite space and say your goodbyes your way...
If you wish to make a donation in her name, please consider the Audubon Society, a cause she's supported my whole life, or the Unity Church.
