I was so sorry to hear about Stu's passing. I will miss his wisdom, wit, and kindness. I feel so lucky to have spent a fun evening with him and others from the New Paltz crew two summers ago - it was as if not a day had passed since we last met. My condolences to family, friends, and all who knew him.

Mr.Strothman was a huge part of my life as he helped me through all 4 years of high school to get me to graduate with my class. He’s the only reason I am graduating. Strothman made a huge difference in the lives of the Bellows Falls Union School community. I’m glad to get my diploma in June in honor of Stu Strothmans name. It’s hard to believe you’re gone. I don’t know how to explain but it doesn’t feel real. You were an amazing person who helped me so much in high school. You were always there when we needed you. whether it was advice, homework, or even just to take a break you were always there to help. I owe so much of my high school career to you. You were there for me when I was struggling with my work and mental health. Without your help I wouldn’t be where I am today. You were the best in every possible way. I cannot stress that enough. I know many people are saddened by your passing and it breaks my heart that you are gone. But I also know that you touched the lives of so many people. People who are still here to honor your memory. BFUHS was an amazing place but it won’t be the same without you Stu…❤️
