I met Stu many years ago when I was Kitchen Manager at Hawthorne Elementary. He would come in for lunch and we would visit as time would allow. One day on the menu was "blue jello". He loved that. After that when he would come visit me in the kitchen he would ask "do you have blue jello today. On the last day he ate with us before school let out I brought him a box of blue jello to get him through till fall.
Stu always had a smile on his face and I loved looking at his photos he would post on Facebook. He was such a genuine human being. I remember the last time I saw Stu, my daughter and I ran into him at Fred Meyers and he always called my daughter by her name, gave us both a big hug. I will miss his smile. God Bless you Stu, till we meet again❤❤❤

Our sincere sympathies to all in the family. Stu was gracious and friendly when we first moved to Boise from San Diego in ‘04. He helped with our transition and we became friends. He had a good program and gave it away often. He struggled the last couple of years so now he will know peace. I met his Mom whom he loved very much and he always spoke of great times on the lake with his bros.
