Steven's obituary

Steven Eugene Zanatta, born on June 18, 1956, at England Air Force Base in Alexandria, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2024, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center in Moultrie, Georgia.

Steve graduated from Harmon High School in 1974 after also attending Bishop Ward High School. Over the years, Steve worked at Southwestern Bell, Leo's Laundromat, and Index Restaurant Supply.

In 2012, Steve moved to Moultrie, Georgia, where he found happiness in the community and in friendships he built there. He became an enthusiastic supporter of the local Colquitt County High School Packers football team and continued to root for his hometown Kansas City Chiefs.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents Leo “Gene” Zanatta and Rose “Elaine” (Cabrini) Zanatta.

Steve is survived by his brother James (Susan) Zanatta and sister Anna Marie (Doug) Cron; niece Andrea (Kelly) Huerter, nephew Alex Zanatta and niece Alaina (Jordan) Burnfin; and grand-nephews Hoàng, Silas, and Wesley.

May fond memories of Steve bring comfort to all who knew him.
