Steven “Steve” Wayne Smith was born April 8, 1947 in Coos Bay Oregon to Florence “Flossie” Lenore Smith and Franklin Ray Smith. His brother Stanley Ray Smith was born two years later.
Steve graduated from North Bend high school in 1965. While in high school he met the love of his life, Mollie Ann Royce. They married on July 9th 1966 surrounded by family and friends. Steven enlisted in the US Navy in April 1966 …
