Steven's obituary

Steven (Steve) Louis Sinclair passed away at the age of 69 on the afternoon of August 4, 2024, after a valiant battle with health complications. Steve was surrounded by family at the time of his passing.

Service: Visitation at 10:30 a.m., A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:15 a.m., on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Shady Oaks Baptist Church, 1336 Cavender Dr. Hurst, Texas 76053.

Steve was born on August 24, 1954, in Fort Worth, Texas to Weldon and Lorena Sinclair. He Lived in Rendon, Texas.  At the age of thirteen, he became a big brother to their son, Paul.  A 1972 graduate of Mansfield High School. He met and married Karen Lindsay and raised two daughters and two sons. They were married for 43 years. He retired from Fort Worth F&D in 2018 after 18 years of service.

Steve got the most pleasure in spending time with his family, friends and sharing in the many accomplishments of his grandchildren. He was a funny guy who could light up any room and bring smiles to all faces. His grandchildren affectionally called him "Cadillac," coined from a playful greeting he would use.  He enjoyed serving as a volunteer of Magnified Grace, a non-profit organization, that served the homeless for many years. Steve also loved hunting, traveling and dining out with family and friends.

A member of Shady Oaks Baptist Church in Hurst, Texas. Steve and Karen have been members since 1986. They also served in various ministries.

Steve is survived by his wife, Karen Sinclair; children, Kristi Sinclair, Brian and wife Amanda Sinclair, Britney Williams and husband Tony Williams and Brent and wife Brandi Sinclair; his brother, Paul and his wife Tamatha; his grandchildren, Mason Sinclair, Brooklyn Sinclair, Lincoln Sinclair, Lexington Sinclair, Mackenzie Sinclair, Isabelle Guidry, Christian Williams, Seth Williams; and many other family and friends.
