Steve and I first met in 1984. I had just finished college and took a programming job with Fleming Foods in Okc. He has been a great programming mentor to me for over 40 years. Such an I/T genius. He and I hired on with Globe Life in the early 2000's. I'll miss him as a mentor and a good friend. Steve, we'll get together when my time comes and laugh about our Fleming A/R statements programs and our Globe Life favorite moments.
Steve’s Globe Life Family is deeply saddened by his passing. We’ve been through a lot of tough work situations together over the years, and Steve always came through, always. No matter how difficult things got or how many issues Steve was juggling at any given point, he would always take the time to help anyone who asked. His kindness, patience, technical skills, dedication, camaraderie, and laugh will always remain in our hearts. May his family know how respected and loved Steve is by all the people who worked with him over the years. We are lucky to have had the chance to know him. What a great guy!
I am So Sorry for everyone's loss, i knew Steve throughout my marriage to Shawn, and he was always so nice and you always saw how much he loved his daughters!!
I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. He was such a dedicated worker who truly loved what he did, and it showed every day. He was incredibly easy to work with - approachable, patient, and always ready with a laugh. His positive spirit created an atmosphere where others could do their best.
We all missed him dearly when he retired and it is heartbreaking that time was cut short. May his memories live on in the lives he touched and bring comfort to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
