Steven's obituary

Steven Donald Rossi, 49, of Houston, TX, passed away on March 3rd, 2022.

Steven was born on October 22nd, 1972, to Glenn William Rossi & Kristin Ann Kerley Rossi in the Keesler Air Force Base (AFB) hospital in Biloxi, MS. He spent his early years traveling as a USAF military brat with his parents and his sisters. From Keesler AFB, where he was born, his family then moved to Little Rock AFB in Jacksonville, AR, in 1973, and afterwards to Lindsey Air Station, Wiesbaden, Germany, in 1976.

After the divorce of his parents in 1981, Steven moved to the Spring Branch area of Houston, Texas, with his mother and three sisters. It was there where he went to high school and eventually learned to become a Computer Aided Design (CAD) Technician in the metal fabrication industry.

He enjoyed the sport of ping pong, loved music, and became an expert playing the guitar. With his computer skills that he gained as a CAD Technician, he applied this knowledge to his favorite hobby of guitar playing and created numerous songs / music cuts digitally mastered on the computer.

Steven performed in venues with other musicians all over Houston and surrounding areas. He uploaded over 50 videos to his Facebook page (2011 to 2021) covering many of his group performances as well as his solo music cuts. Some of his favorite music idols were Led Zeppelin and Metallica.

Steven never married but had several romances over the years.

Steven was predeceased by his mom, Kristin Rossi-Paschal (1949-2015), his uncle, Charles Donald Rossi (1934-1997), his maternal grandmother, Francis June Law Kerley (1923-2002), his maternal grandfather, William James Kerley (1927-1980), his paternal grandmother Lillian Angelina Tomeo Rossi (1911-1983), and his paternal grandfather Charles Walter Rossi (1907-2005).

Steven is survived by his father, Glenn William Rossi (b. 1950), his sister Shannon June Rossi (b. 1969), his sister Robin Angelina Rossi Camara (b. 1975), his sister Susan Maria Rossi (b. 1977), his half-sister Katharina Sybilla Rossi (b. 1982), his half-sister Franziska Maria Rossi (b. 1992), his step-father Douglas Shane Paschal, and many nieces, nephews, & cousins.

Steven’s memorial service will take place on April 9th, 2022, at 3:00PM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home, 1101 Antoine Drive, Houston, Texas 77055. A reception will start at 2:00PM at the same location where some of Steven’s music videos will be viewed.
