I grew up with Steve and Mike and my older brother Bill and Sid grew up together. We lived on Stephens Rd. in East Detroit and had a great time as kids. I was shocked when I heard that Steve had passed away it was about a month or maybe a little bit longer if we had known many meaning many of his friends that grew up with Steve we would have been at the memorial service at Holy Innocents church in Roseville. Steve was really a funny dude one time I had just gotten my license and about 6 of us decided to cruise out to Bloomer State Park in Utica I believe it was and party. I had met a chick there and she partied with us and she took a liking to me and Steve rode my a$$ all day over it and with his sarcasm he had me cracking up all day long. He said one time how do you end up with the good looking chicks everytime as ugly as you are? That was my buddy Steve told like it was always. I'm sorry it to me 6 yrs. to say this but it's still hard for me and others to even grasp this. There are many other stories I could tell that would have y'all smiling but we would be here for hours. RIP my longtime friend although we lost contact for 32 yrs. we finally reconnected in 2008 at at the appliance store you worked at on 10 mile in Warren but I can't remember the name of it all I can think of is ABC Warehouse but I don't think that was it. We got together 10 yrs. later and went to Vince's funeral together and started talking on the phone and making plans for future get together. I will miss ya buddy it's to bad we never got that table top hockey game tourney going with Sid and Mike. You were a good man Steve very funny with one liners that could destroy someone it was great.

Steve was a great man. Sam always loved going over and spending time with Lisa and her family. He had a huge heart. Always helped me out when he worked at ABC warehouse. His family is in my thoughts and prayers.

I always considered Steve as one of the coolest dads, in all my friends. Any time I would come over to hang out with Kathy, he always had a way to make everyone laugh with his awesome personality and sarcastic jokes. That is something that has always stayed with me, since I met him at 13 years old. He was an amazing man and will truly be missed by many! My thoughts and love are with you Kathy and Lisa.

Uncle Steve was so cool and funny. I loved staying the night over their house as a kid with my cousin Kathy. We had many great memories together. He will be greatly missed.
