Doug's obituary
Most called him Doug but a close few who shared a childhood memory referred to him as "Dump".
Doug leaves behind a son, one of his namesakes, Steven Douglas Kazy Jr "Dougie" (Hanna) and his daughter, Jennifer Nash who will always be Daddy's Little Girl. Doug cherished his Grandchildren Chelsea Kazy, Lauren Kazy, Julia Kazy Gates, Sara Whittbeck and his 2nd namesake, Steven Douglas Kazy III "Little Dougie" and 6 great grandchildren, his brothers, Gary Kazy, James "Bo" Kazy, Michael "Mike" Kazy, Sisters Joyce "Jo" Lamm, Rita Doyle and Sandy Westberry along with several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and cousins.
Doug's big kind heart, big smile and fun, lighthearted spirit filled the room with good times and fun memories.
Doug excelled at everything he did from hitting a bullseye on a dart board to laying down a perfect 300 game on the bowling lanes. In his earler years Doug would run the balls out on the pool table before you'd get your first shot. Like his dad Tayor, Doug loved cheering for the Detroit Tiger's whether at Comerica Park (previously Tiger Stadium) in Downtown Detroit, on a big screen at the Pub or in the comfort of his or a loved ones home.
Most of all he cherished his family and spending quality time passing on the traditions tought by the elders before him while making everlasting memories with the littles.
We will keep your memory alive with the traditions, good times and memories you left with us.
You will be greatly missed by many. Until we meet again, Rest In Peace Ole Bird. Xoxo
