I met Steve in high school I was a grade under him and he was one of the nicest guys I knew. We hung out a lot and kept in touch over the years. When my daughter was diagnosed with diabetes he helped me with advice and support. I am so sorry for your loss he was a great guy

Steve was one of the finest human beings it has been my privilege to call friend. Over nearly two decades, I have continued to be honored and astounded by the man's dignity and essential goodness. I can't imagine what your family is going through. Please understand, Steve was a tremendous influence on my life and he will not be forgotten soon. Even my daughter knew how good he was as soon as she was born. She was drawn right to him, smiling every time she saw him. Anyone who's ever met him will not be surprised.
