Steve's obituary
Steven Rudy Hlavacek, age 67, of Olathe, Kansas, passed on May 27, 2024.
Steve grew up with a love of the outdoors, fishing and hunting with his father. He also developed a great interest in music and spent time with his friends playing the guitar. Family mattered deeply to him and he kept memories alive by sharing photographs with those he loved. His faith in God as well as his close friends were both very important to him.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Rudy and Betty Hlavacek and sister, Linda Whiteside. He is survived by his nephew Eric Whiteside, brother-in-law, Bill Whiteside, and loving cousins and friends.
Future memorial service date to be determined.
