Steve came over and seen dads 350 Honda street/scrambler and proceeds to show dad how to ride a slow but long wheelie down the street I was amazed and laughed.

Steve, my big brother, my friend, my protector. Many years ago we talked about the strong bond we shared, which began when we were very young. I believe, that even in death, that bond is unbreakable. As our younger brother stated, he was a hard man but loved his family & we loved him. My favorite memory was in 1970 when he came home from serving in the US ARMY for good. While I will miss not being able to call him or see him, I am thankful that he is now free from pain. I find comfort in knowing that we WILL be together again. I love you with all my heart my darling big brother. RIP

My heart breaks for you all. The pain is so raw I am sure. I am sorry that he had to leave you.
My sympathies to all of us who loved Steve and all who loved him, past and present. Charlotte and Jessie, we love you both.

Steve was always the "Elvis cool guy" to his younger cousins. Tough but cool. The "old folks" were talking in the garage regarding Steve going into the military. In youngins were here and the comment that I remember but did not understand was in regards to "short rounds". You will find out all about them when ya get to boot camp was the comment to Steve. That's all I got to share besides my heart felt feelings about passing on to the next place. Thought I was tough or hardened to death but tears roll down freely as I type my thoughts. See ya in the next world Steve, but don't wait up. I hope to be late.
