May Gil rest in eternal peace at the right hand of the Father.

Dad used to regularly take us to used bookstores with him, and we always got to pick something to take home with us. Such a great way to instill a love of reading in kids.

Gayle, Jes, Kate, and everyone,  I am so sorry about the loss of Gil. You each have my deepest sympathy.
Gil was a consummate game player - chess, scrabble, board games (Monopoly, Clue, Sherlock Holmes), all manner of card games (spades, hearts, rummy, bridge, cribbage), Apples to Apples, and word games (most recently the New York Times Spelling Bee)

Gil was captain of the University of Minnesota Intramural Bowling Team.  In September of 1972 he challenged the ABC championship Hamm’s Bowling Team to a match. In October of that year an exhibition match was held at the University of Minnesota between the two teams.
Gil was always too quick witted for me! As a kid could never come up with comebacks quick enough! I am sure that when I see him in Heaven he will have some clever remark that I won't be prepared for.He was a great man and He will be missed.
