Steven's obituary
Steven was an adventurous person and was always the most happy when outdoors, especially around a campfire. As a child he would tell long exciting stories about the bugs and snakes he loved to catch and study. He always had a special connection with animals and nature and people whom he loved. He was drawn to living simply and being around people who also valued honesty, loyalty, friendship and family. Steven worked in construction and also as a fisherman. He was not afraid of hard work and had a knack for being able to fix anything that was broken. He was also a dreamer.
Everyone who knew Steven knew how beautiful he was. Steven was full of a special light, energy and love for life, traits that were obvious to all after even just one single meeting with Steven .
Steven is survived by mother, Marilyn Gerard, sister, Dana Parfitt, sister, Shelley Maycomber, brother, Joe Gerard, sister, Lori LeTellier-Moniak, and an abundance of friends. We will miss him more than words can say and look forward to being with him again in Heaven. There will be a celebration and memorial of his life in Arizona and Wrangell and are still being planned at this time.
