My name is Danielle. I am a 29 year old mother of 4 and wife and am an only child. My father suddenly passed at the age of 53. He had no other next of kin except for myself. So ultimately I am responsible to cover his final expenses. He had no life insurance, no burial insurance or benefits, so I had to scrape up every dime to pay for him to be cremated. He lived in Florida and I in Colorado so I also incurred costs in travel to go take care of all his belongings and final arrangements.
This untimely death of my father not only is very painful emotionally, but it is has cost my family financially and we are unsure how we will pay for rent and food this month due to this cost. Our funeral home director(Baldwin Brothers) in Ocala, Florida suggested I start this site to help raise funds to recoup and help my family get back on their feet. Any little bit will help. We are trying to raise $2500 as his final expenses totaled, $1,464 dollars. The rest was for travel, lodging and death certificates and lost wages.
