Steven's obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Phillip Steven Frady, 67, of Lawrenceville, Georgia. Formerly of Okeechobee, Florida, Steve passed away June 21st. 2024. He was a beloved father, husband, brother and dear friend who will be deeply missed by his loved ones and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Steve was known for his exceptional skills as a truck driver and his passion for cooking on the grill, where he was renowned for making the best barbecue for his friends and family. He will be remembered for his gift of humor, which brightened the lives of everyone he encountered. His quick wit and playful spirit created lasting memories with friends and family alike.

Beyond his humor, Steve was also admired for his unwavering generosity and willingness to help others in need. Whether it was lending a helping hand or supporting a friend in tough times, Steve was always willing to help.

Steve is survived by his wife, Ann Frady, Lawrenceville, Georgia; brother Timothy Brian Frady; sister Cheryl Frady Whitlock of Okeechobee, Florida; two daughters: Stephanie Frady of Smithville, Tennessee and Melonie Orr of Portland, Maine; grandson Adrian Orr of Portland, Maine; step-daughter Shelley DuBose of Nashville, Tennessee; step-son James DuBose of Oldsmar, Florida; and a large and caring extended family.

Steve is preceded in death by his mother Evelyn Clay Frady; father Phillip Samual Frady; brother Michael Frady; and nephew Phillip Frady.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held for family and friends August 18 at the Rhodes Jordan Community Center.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Kidney Fund http://secure.kidneyfund.org.
