Steven's obituary
He was employed by John Kilpatrick Ministries for the last 25 years. He
loved Pastor Kilpatrick, the ministry and his role in it. He also worked
with two of his best friends at Phil Carter Trucking and Golloher Services.
He spent years as well with Senators Coaches where he developed friendships
with his fellow drivers that meant so much to him. He loved Nascar and Five
Flags Speedway, Crimson Tide football and golf. But there was nothing he
loved more than gospel music, playing bass guitar, running the sound board
at church, and wanting everyone to give their best for The Glory of God. He
played music with both families, the Patricks and the Fowlers. ln earlier
years, Steve and Moneica travelled professionally with the "Fowler Family".
He also played with the gospel singing groups of Wendy Bagwell and the
Sunlighters and the Dixie Echoes. He loved his ministry in music at First
Church of the Nazarene alongside Moneica with Pastor Jon Carnes. He felt
very Blessed as well to have ministered at Kings Way Church with Pastor Rick
Curry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Ellen Bardin Fowler and Riley
Jack Fowler; and one brother, Jon Mark Stewart.
Steve is survived by his wife, Moneica Patrick Fowler; sons, Steven Lamar
