It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Steven Andrew Degenstein, who left us at the age of 37 in Tacoma, WA. Born in Lakewood, WA, Steven was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. 

Steven was an extraordinary artist, whose creativity touched the lives of many. He had a passion for skateboarding, music, cooking, and poker—each reflecting his vibrant and adventurous spirit. His presence will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. Steven leaves behind his mother and father, Nancy and Steve; his siblings, Wren and Jennifer; his brothers-in-law, Benjamin and Nicholas; his two nephews, Gabriel and Asher; all of his cousins; along with countless friends who will forever cherish his memory.

 A memorial to celebrate Steven’s life will be held on August 18th, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at 5717 S Tyler Street, Tacoma, WA 98409. 

In this time of grief, we remember Steven for the joy he brought into our lives and the beautiful memories he leaves behind.
