Karla Leibham
1968, Great Bend High School
Steve joined the GBHS class of 1968 his senior year in high school.  Of course, all the girls loved that a new handsome boy joined our class.  Steve immediately jumped in to make friends and was a star basketball player.  He was my escort for the Basketball Homecoming Court... and when he crowned me queen, he kissed me!!  God bless him!  We weren't "a thing" or anything... he was just such a gem of a nice guy!  Fond memories...
Steve was a gentle and giving soul. I am heartbroken for your loss.
Steve was a dear high school classmate of mine.  It was so fun to reconnect with him and meet Deanne at our last reunion.  I am so sad for your loss.  Keep happy memories to help comfort you.  May Steve rest in peace.

Steve was one of a kind and true to himself.  An inspirational man with an amazing heart and a way of bringing people in with his humor.  I am heartbroken for your beautiful family.  Sending you loving kindness as your journey unfolds.

Sending our love and prayers to you Deanne, Tyler and Amy. We loved Steve's humor and we will miss him very much.

Love,

Nathan, Michelle, Zoie and Emma Brown

I came and visited Steve and his family for a week. I had so much fun and will never forget the arcade, movie, zoo and so many other things Steve and his family were gracious enough to take me to and give me a “big city” experience. I will always cherish that as one of the best weeks of my life. Anytime I spend with them I always treasure.
