In Loving Memory of Steven Craig Jones

Steven Craig Jones, known as "Steve" by friends and "Craig" by family went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday August 28, 2024 after a short courageous battle with cancer. Born on June 12, 1961, He was a force to be reckoned with.

He was born with great strength and went out with great strength. His journey touched the lives of many, leaving behind memories of his opinions and deep desire to help those he believed could not help themselves. 

He was predeceased by his father Dale Lavon Jones, paternal grandparents Andrew and Zetta Mae Jones, maternal grandparents Kenneth and Lillian Shumaker. He is survived by his mother Kay Phyllis Jones, sister Priscilla Thomas (David) of Olin NC, sister Cheryl Adams (Kent) of Troutman NC, Nieces, nephews and too many adopted family members to name them all. 

Receiving will be Sunday September 8 at Troutman Funeral Him in Troutman NC at 4 pm with memorial service at 5.  Graveside will be held privately by family at a later date.
