We regretfully announce the passing of Steven Cogdell, who died unexpectedly on April 17, 2022. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden death. 

Steven was born on September 19, 1964 to parents; Norman and Reiko Cogdell. He is preceded in passing by his mother Reiko Cogdell. He is survived by his daughter: Casey Cogdell, his sons: Cody Cogdell and Michael Cogdell, his father Norman Cogdell, and his sisters: Sherrie Churchich, Carrie Altwein, and Julie Reyes; as well as many other relatives including aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He attended Metro Tech Community College, graduating and working in auto mechanics as well as a dental lab technician. Steven also served in the Navy for six years. In his free time, Steven loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing, and would often ride his bike through the trails. He was a collector of vintage knives and guns. He loved to watch western films and eat Japanese food. 

Everyone who knew Steven knew how kind, loving, and warm his heart was. Steven will be fondly remembered and sorely missed. No services will take place at this time but our family appreciates your love and support during this difficult time.
