Steve and I became friends in 7th grade at Logan. We became lifelong friends. We rode our skateboards and bikes all throughout Bellevue before we started driving cars. We watched every Nebraska game together that we could. Loved sitting in his garage with his wood burner.  We worked on cars together. Steve liked to fish and hunt. He loved music and had a big collection of albums. We rode motorcycles together and like to race each other.  We just always had a good time and we could talk for hours about everything and anything. So many memories too many to list. You will be missed my friend and I will always cherish the memories and the pictures

I remember many days with Steve when he lived with me and my family so he could finish high school. I was in kindergarten when he was a senior. He would pick me up on the bus because I was to small to get on without help.one day he and I made a bird nest out of mud and pine needles, what a mess we were. And when he came to spend time with are grandma before she passed. What a summer that was, so many stories .when Steve took me out on my 21 birthday,he got me my first shot of whiskey. What a night. Steve will be greatly missed. Your cousin, Mark.
