Steven's obituary
We are deeply saddened to announce the peaceful passing of Steven Christopher Wright on March 16, 2003 in Clackamas County, Oregon. Born on July 24, 1979, in Damascus, Oregon, Steven was a cherished member of our community, well remembered for his cool demeanor, reserved nature, and an uncanny ability to juggle his social and professional life with unmatched grace. Steven leaves behind his parents, William(Bill) and Carol Bernice Wright of Ohio; brother, John(Pam), and brother, Michael(Patsy) of Oregon.
Remembered by many as the quintessential 'social butterfly', Steven was immensely popular due to his polite and patient attributes. He was a gentleman in the truest sense, always patient, and his sweet personality was much admired by all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with him. He loved playing basketball on his free time and was dedicated to the sport. Steven created time for train rides to Canada, and long camping trips in Oregon with all of his friends.
Even amidst his quiet reserve, he imprinted invaluable lessons on those around him. Steven's advice and life teachings serve as a guiding compass to this day. He taught others the importance of striking a balance between work and personal life, and how to maintain courtesy and politeness, irrespective of the challenges that life throws our way.
One of Steven's most notable achievements was his ability to successfully balance a full-time job and a long-distance relationship with his high school sweetheart, who had moved to the Bay Area. Steven had the prettiest girlfriend and was deeply devoted to her. He visited her during the year and ate all her homecooked meals. He treated her with admiration and respect. This commitment was a testament to his loving nature and a demonstration of his perseverance.
Steven's legacy is not measured in concrete achievements, but rather by the impactful persona he left behind. His fun-loving spirit made him a beacon, illuminating the lives of those around him. His legacy is that of a gentleman, a friend, and a guiding light, fondly remembered and deeply missed by all.
