Anyone would be Blessed to have had a marriage like Annie and Steve.. Full of love and laughter, The way a marriage should be. He will be missed..
I did not know Steve well. I know he was dedicated to his family and was very supportive of his kids friends. I have learned the value of acceptance and support of our children’s friendships. It means a lot.
We will have to set up a video link for my brothers celebration of life. Will have my dad transported to Chelsea's house. Looks like we will have other people unable to make it down to you, to also be at Chelsea's house. Hope you are recovering well Annie. Love you Bro!

Steve, I wish I would have gotten to know you better, Cousin. I am very thankful for getting a chance to at least connect up with you and Annie a couple of times over the last few years. You showed us wonderful warm hospitality and a welcoming home for us to stay and visit as we traveled around. I still have fond memories of dinner with you guys at the pizza place and ice cream for dessert -- then you guys showing us around your town. I wish we weren't always in such a time rush to get from A to B and could have spent more time with you. Annie, know Connie and I love you and will sure be missing Steve. I really want to stay more in touch with you and the rest of the family.
I will always value my time on Van Beck where our neighbors lived and laughed with each other like family. I also have amazing memories of my spring break trips to Annie and Steve’s house with all day parties floating on the river, fabulous dinners, fires with drinks, and wild nights on the town. Oh how we laughed!! You will be greatly missed Steve! I love you Annie, Emily, Aaron, and Alec. I am so very sorry for your loss.
What can I say but only I will miss you dearly my brother and friend. I feel like we were only just getting closer before God took you home. I love you and miss you. Rest In Peace.
I am still in shock regarding this situation.....May he Rest in Peace and the love and caring of the family help Annie going forward.

Annie and Steve were two peas in a pod and while I know Annie best by far, Steve always had a quiet calm and a quick smile to him. Plus he made some of the best people I know! I'm so very sorry for your loss <3
Twelve years ago, I was nervous about meeting Steve and Annie because Aaron and I had only been dating for a short time. But Steve quickly put me at ease. A person who could calm your heart in an instant if you are troubled; he was the best at finding common ground with everyone. His gift of simple, true feeling gave empowering acceptance. He didn't recognize dividing lines and had a special talent to build bridges between people to connect them. In his warm nature he loved being around his grandkids and they loved getting to curl up with him on his chair and watch their cartoons or read books. I will always be grateful for his warm welcomes and even warmer goodbyes. Please accept my sincere condolences Annie, Emily, Aaron, and Alec. We miss him so much.
Steve and Annie helped us with hanging pictures in our home. While hanging pictures we compared the length of time we had been married and discussed Packer football. He was simply one of the coolest guys I’ve had the pleasure of meeting.
Our heartfelt condolences to all of Steve's family, on his untimely passing. Fortunately, he lived an active and stupendous life with Ann and his offspring, grandchildren, family and friends. We know he is now safely in heaven, watching over all his beloveds, and we pray for them in their grief. Our thoughts are truly with you all. Peace & love, Patty Walsh & family
