Personal note

All,

We hope everyone is doing well as we mourn the untimely passing of Steve. Steve was a friend to all, had a passion for experiencing life, and always put others' needs in front of his. The purpose of this website is to update everyone on how Sarah's family along with Ed, Mary, and Beth are looking to celebrate Steve's life as well as identify ways you all can help.

We encourage everyone to sign up to this page as a way to build community and stay in the know for future announcements and updates.

Steve’s FB page will continue on as well if you wish to share memories there.

There are three focus areas as we move forward:

1. Ensuring Sarah, Avery, and Mary have the assistance they need
2. Celebrating Steve's life
3. Bringing Steve's passion and energy for life to help others

1. Assisting Sarah, Avery, and Mary

There are several efforts underway that will help the family in both the short and long term.
- Sarah Ocasek (Thank You Sarah) has set up a gofundme page to directly assist the Sogan family here -- https://www.gofundme.com/f/su…
- Meals are being organized through Meal Train's website thanks to Sarah Bogdan. If you would like to assist, you can sign into the site and search for the Sogan Family.
- We are working on establishing a Trust in the Sogan name that will help the family for the longer term. More communication to come here and how you can help once we have more details

2. Celebrating Steve's Life

As we are in unprecedented times, immediate matters will involve the immediate family only. We will be planning a Celebration of Life in the new year once we hope to see a vaccine and some semblance of normal returning to our lives. More info to come here as we have details.

3. Bringing Steve's passion and energy to life to help others

We will always remember Steve's passion and energy and want to ensure that lives on forever. There are numerous ways that this will come to life across the things that Steve loved and will communicate how you can be involved at a future time.

Thank you all for Supporting Sarah’s family along with Ed, Mary, and Beth in these trying times and look for more communication in the future.
