Steve was a great influence in my younger days! I have many great memories from the Dominican Republic, ski trips, our youth group was a special one.  Steve always had a sweet smile, welcoming heart, adorable laugh and gave great hugs!  My thoughts and prayers are with all who loved him!

Mr. Steve where to even begin with this kind soul. Not only was he a wonderful coworker but an even better friend. He always took the time to check in on me & my family making sure we were okay. All the jokes & laughter & convos we had while I helped him dig to china on every house we worked on together seem so much more precious now. There wasn’t a single time on the job site that I didn’t see him with 2 things..a smile on his face & sandals on his feet. I’ll remember the good times for sure! Thank you for being a friend!

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I have such fond memories of Steve playing guitar at our wedding and from all the fun trips we went on. He was such a good man and will be deeply missed. —Sarah Cooke Friend and family

There are no words to say how sorry I’am for the loss of your beloved Dad. Steve was so good to me when I bought the house next door, always with a smile and a hug and many good laughs. He will be missed immensely, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. All our love Susan and family xxx

I met Steve in 1984 when my wife & I walked into that little white church on Citrus Ave.  I went from growing up Catholic to marrying a Baptist, but when we walked into that church & there is a long haired guy playing an electric guitar & a girl playing the drums,  (that was so cool), I knew we were home. See you in heaven my friend & anyone else who wants to see Steve again just needs to believe  in Jesus Christ as God’s Son & our Savior.

Steve. How could you not smile and laugh when you were around him? He made my home beautiful and left his God-filled spirit throughout the house. He shared beautiful pictures of sunrises in the mountains and spots where he had his morning devotions…he truly saw the beauty God put around him. But he really loved talking about his children. They were his greatest joy and legacy. ❤️ May heaven be filled with plenty of duct tape for those crocks Steve
