Steve, ALWAYS had a smile and the greatest attitude about everything. The best story I have is the time we were out deer hunting in the swamps. We had just finished a little lunch when Steve said he was going to take off back to his stand.  The three of us, we were on higher ground and in tree stands, watched Steve head out. He started okay, but we soon could tell he started to move to his left and circle back towards us. He could not see us but we could see him.  He kept circling the same path about 4 to  5 times for 45minutes to 1 hour. when we could start to hear him mumble, damn, where the ,$,#,am I. We let him come around again, he was not more than 20-30 yards out in front of us, when we yelled, Hey Dummy, do you have any idea where your going? The look on his face when he finally spotted us was one of those precious moments when you laugh an laugh and laugh and laugh that you almost wet yourself. The one laughing the loudest and longest, of course was Steve. He was a good man and most of all a good friend. Rest in peace Steve, you are missed. John Gable, your friend and St. Mary's  Redman classmate.

Deb, Stephanie and Nick,

Jan and I just heard about Steve today.   We are so sorry for your loss.   He was a great man and friend.  When you get back to AZ please call us

Remember this kid from ST. Thomas Moore. Nice guy, good athlete, intelligent. He wasn’t cocky, leadership qualities.

Denny Mulloy , Brother Rice ‘62.

PS Had a good looking sister, remember dancing with her at St. Sabina.

To Steve's family and all the Dybsky family. We met Steve on his visit to Ireland in 1973. He, Marge, Johnny, Tom, Mary Pat and Nancy. We had a wonderful time as we got to know our American Cousins. My heart goes out to Steve's family.  I was a classmate of Steve's at St. Mary's College, and had a wonderful time having dinner with him at our 50th Class reunion in 2016.  He was a real talent, and we all miss him.
