It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Sterling Tatro, Sr. on January 5, 2024. Born in the year 1953, he lived a fulfilling life full of love, kindness, and passion for the great outdoors.

Sterling was an avid outdoorsman who passed down valuable lessons to his loved ones. His teachings about outdoor skills, fishing, hunting, hiking, and camping will always be remembered with gratitude and pride.

He instilled his love for the outdoors in his sons, grand kids, and so many other youth by sharing his skills and knowledge in both fishing and hunting. Being able to enjoy these activities with friends and family brought him great joy and satisfaction.

One of his favorite vacation spots was The Little Red River near Heber Springs, or as he fondly referred to it, "The Trout River". This place held a special spot in his heart and provided much-needed peace and relaxation.

Sterling leaves behind a legacy of strength, independence, loyalty, and unconditional love. He is survived by his two sons, Sterling Tatro, Jr. and Shawn Tatro, who both shared their father's love for the outdoors and will carry on his legacy.

Sterling's dedication to his family and community, as well as his love for the outdoors, will forever shine as a beacon of inspiration to all who had the privilege to know him. His presence will be dearly missed, yet his spirit will live on in the teachings, love, and laughter he left behind.
