2023, Colonial Beach, VA, USA
We all met up at Colonial Beach. We got ice cream, went out to eat. It was a good day together and very special to my Son. We spent time playing at "the big playground" as he called it. He got stung by a jellyfish and we had to lay him in the back of my SUV to put urine on it. Pretty unforgettable day. — with Gabriel Hoffman Stephney Morris

Steph, I will never forget your big smile. And you would always bring one to my face no matter how down I was. Now your daughters, family, and friends have an angel watching over them from heaven. I wish we could hug one last time but that will have to wait...

On behalf of City of God Ministries, we celebrate the life and legacy Stephney leaves behind. In 2023, Stephney became a treasured part of our ministry family and will truly be missed. During her tenure there, she volunteered with our teen ministry and many of them are deeply saddened by the news of her passing. We will miss her brilliant smile and engaging reflections during bible study. Our congregation extends itself to the entire family, offering prayers of comfort for everyone. My condolences to Stepanie’s family. I am so sorry for your loss. I’ll always remember the fun we had in high school, she would give me a ride home and we would drive around listening to Fleetwood Mac because that’s the only 8 trac we had! Stephanie was my best friend back in those days. I think of her every time I hear Fleetwood Mac.
