Stephen Weitzman passed away at the age of 63 on November 30, 2023, in Boynton Beach, Florida. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Sheila. He is survived by his son Shane, his daughter Sophie, his son-in-law Daniel, and Sophie and Daniel’s son Eli.

Steve struggled with medical and mental health difficulties for much of his life. He loved music, and especially the music of Richard & Linda Thompson, Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, Dr. John, The Beatles, Pinetop Perkins and other blues artists, and artists from many other genres. Steve also loved the city of Boston, New York City delis, dim sum in Boston’s Chinatown, listening to baseball on the radio, and the dogs he had throughout his life.
