Well, today marks the 2-year anniversary of Steve's passing. What a remarkable life we lived together and he lived as an individual. God Blessed us with everything that was good including our mental ability to make the best in life and our heart to be soft towards others. It's worth repeating that Steve was loved by everyone and everyone always wanted to spend time with Steve and now our son Michael has the same characteristics- A great human of high calibur and morals Amen... I know some of his lifetime friends and college running buddies might think this is not the same Steve they knew lol. Steve had one priority in life and that was to have a blast and that he always did! It's strange but I don't feel loneliness or sadness with my loss of Steve but adoration. I will always love him and hold the richness of him and our time together deeply in my heart. I believe he would be happy that I am learning to move on in my life including dating. I would never try to replace him because that's not possible... there's only moving forward. Husbands and wives hug your mate deeply, rise above the small stuff and hang in there when times are tough and if you do, you too will receive the prize that only comes from never giving up.
