Obituary
Stephen Vanture Davis, 67, passed away comfortably with covid on Thursday, August 26, 2021, with his wife, Julia, by his side in Navarre, Florida. Steve was cherished by many and lived a fascinating, truly unique life. He was a very likable, down-to-earth, charming and soft spoken person.
Steve had endearing friendships from many circles of life, from his beloved hometown friends of Cambridge, Maryland, his close friends from Chicago, his college buddies and his five …

Memorial events are private
A private service of 'Ashes to Water' is planned soon at National Harbor, Maryland at son Michael and daughter-in-love Heloisa Davis' home. Julia and her brothers will attend. Steve was very close to his brother-in-laws- they were as blood brothers to him. There's nothing Steve enjoyed more then being on the water- boating, swimming or basking in the sun. His ashes will be cast in the local waters by Michael's home where Julia is planning to move next year.
