Steven Paul Simmons passed away unexpectedly on February 2, 2026. He leaves behind his two daughters Stephanie Simmons of Reno, Nv. and Heather Simmons Modesto, Ca, His brother Todd Prentice of Reno  and his grandson Nicolas Paul Simmons of Waterville Maine. 

He is preceded in death by his Father Paul Simmons, his Mother Doris Prentice, His Step Mother Jean Simmons and Step father John Prentice.  And his 2 brothers John and Martin Simmons.

Steve was raised in Colonie NewYork and then joined the Army during the Vietnam war.  He was stationed in Germany.  After Steve got home stateside he and his family moved to Modesto, Ca where Steve became a lifelong Salesman and a very good one at that. Steve sold everything from Cutco knives, to Satellite dishes, Solar Panels, prefabricated homes and his last love… Motorhome’s.

His family asks in lieu of flowers to please donate to the gofundme listed below to allow them to bring him to the final resting place he chose to be next to his grandfather in upstate New York. 

May Steve rest peacefully for the rest of eternity.
