A Note from Chess In The Schools, In Memory of Stephen Shepard
Stephen was many things - he was kind to all, incredibly patient, compassionate to his clients, a brilliant attorney, an amazing father and grandfather and brother, a wonderful friend, and really just the best human being. All who knew him are truly blessed.
As much as he loved his Mets and Knicks, he was even more passionate about the game of chess. Just as he devoted many years helping the working people of New York City, he is now helping kids learn and succeed at one of his favorite past times. In memory of Stephen, and in tribute to the game he loved and his lifelong dedication to helping others, please consider donating. Contribute to Chess-in-the-Schools
