Stephen's obituary
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Stephen James Mumpire, born in 1952, in Gary, Indiana departed this life on November 4, 2025. Stephen was a man of tremendous strength and character, his life was a testament to resilience, generosity, and undying love for his family.
Stephen graduate from Gary Roosevelt High School in 1970. He immediately began working for US Steel where he stayed to retirement.
Stephen leaves behind his brother, sister, 2 daughters and 1 grandson. He is preceeded in death by his loving wife Aileen. May his soul rest in peace, and his memory serve as a beacon of inspiration to us all
