With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen Smith, who left us on June 16, 2025. Born on December 4, 1988, Stephen's vibrant spirit and kindness touched countless lives throughout his years. Stephen had the unique opportunity to create lasting memories in the hearts of those he loved and will be deeply missed.

Stephen is lovingly remembered by his mother, Tamela Hall, his sisters Pamela Samples, Casey Samples, Heather Hall, and Brittany Hall, and his brother, Timothy Hall. His step-father, Randall Hall, also survives him. He was courageously predeceased by his father, Rodney Smith, and his sister, Amber Hall, each of whom he held very dear to his heart.

Stephen was a beacon of love, strength, and resilience. His spirit and zest for life will continue to resonate in the lives of the many people who had the honor of knowing him. Stephen had a remarkable ability to bring joy and laughter into any room he entered.

A service to honor and celebrate Stephen's life will be held at 1:00 PM on June 19, 2025, at the First Baptist Church of Raleigh. We welcome all those who knew and loved Stephen to join us in honoring his memory and celebrating his life.

May Stephen rest in peace, and may his memory be a source of comfort, strength, and inspiration for all those who knew and loved him.
