Stephen's obituary

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Stephen McClain Sr, who was born on August 30, 1963 and passed away on March 11, 2021. Stephen was a beloved father, cherished friend, and an inspiration to everyone who knew him. He leaves behind his son, Stephen McClain Jr, whom he loved dearly and was enormously proud of.

Stephen Sr found great joy in life’s simple pleasures. Married in 1996, he was blessed with the birth of his son on September 28 of the same year and cherished every moment he spent with him. His favorite times were often found in the comfort and solitude of his home, his favorite local spot, where he loved to engage in activities that brought him peace and relaxation. A fan of television shows like Gold Diggers, he also enjoyed an array of games such as Solitaire, Spider Solitaire, and Pinball.

A lover of the great outdoors, Stephen Sr treasured every opportunity to engage in outdoor work, which was his preferred method of exercise. He relished in recreational activities such as fishing and camping, as well as spending quality time with children. He found solace in the tranquil surroundings of Pickwick, which was his favorite vacation spot.

Stephen had a contagious love for life, which was evident in his taste for vibrant colors like green and orange. Known for his unfailingly helpful nature, he lived by the wise words, "Be the best you can be", which he generously shared with those around him. His favorite drink was Dr Pepper, the taste of which will forever remind us of his vibrant personality and warm spirit.

Stephen McClain Sr was a man of great character and will be deeply missed by all those who were fortunate enough to have known him. His life was full of love, joy, and memorable experiences that touched everyone in his life. His legacy continues through his son, Stephen McClain Jr.

In remembrance of Stephen, let us all strive to be the best we can be, as he always encouraged us to do. His delightful spirit and wisdom will forever remain in our hearts.
