Background
Steve was the kind of person you'd pass on the sidewalk and think nothing of it- He was modest, frugal, a simple man. Little would you ever know you just missed out on the greatest friend of your life.
I was blessed to have shared the past 22 years as his friend and life will never be the same without him. He was kindhearted and completely selfless.
He gave me a home when I had nowhere to go. He gave me refuge, safety and security when I hit rock bottom. He is who came to my aid throughout my addiction and who supported me emotionally and financially the 2 years I spent in prison. Upon my release in 2013 he once again provided a home for me and gave me all the tools I needed to succeed in life. I truly believe had we never met I would have never made it out of the hopeless life I was living in.
He believed in me. He loved me and he loved my 4 daughters. I'd give anything to be able to see him one more time, but all we have now is goodbye. If you feel compelled to, and are within means to , I would be sincerely grateful for any help.
