A gentle friend with a slow smile, infectious sense of humor, understanding nature, and forgiving heart. He bore his burdens with grace and courage. We are all better off for knowing him, and he lives on in our memory.
I meet Stephen a little over 10 years ago. My first adventure with him was going with him and his dad to the 18th Street Lounge. What a wonderful time we all had that evening. Lots of music, dancing, and lots of laughter. Before the evening ended, he had given me the name of Momma V and welcomed me, my son and daughter as his extended family. His take.... this is cool I have two moms, two brothers and two sisters. Nothing but love from Him.

I am especially thankful and grateful for the past year. Even through a pandemic Stephen was able to spend lots of time with family and friends so I celebrate. He shared how much he enjoyed those times.

I will miss his deep-felt laughter and long held hugs. I will remember the joy and sometimes tears that we shared. It is not how we transition that counts so much but how we live. Stephen lived sharing love but never complaining about his challenges and full of hope!
Enjoy your new journey, Stephen! Nothing but Love for you, Momma V
Steve!! My brother from another mother! This surely stings as I think of all the fond memories we shared together. Undoubtedly, one of the most selfless guys I have ever met! He always went out of his way to see me and connect with me whenever I’d be in town. His unconditional love for me and all his friends is truly unparalleled. Through all his ups and downs he always put on his best game face whenever we were together. A true fighter till the end! We will miss and we will cherish our memories forever! We love love you Steve, stinky, stinge! Catch you on the flip side my brother!
Steve was a great friend, and had a contagious positive attitude. He will be truly missed, and my deepest condolences go out to his family. We'll never forget you, dude.
