Stephen Randall Greenwalt passed away at his home in Ogden, Utah on October 17th, 2024, at the age of 60.

Stephen was born on September 12th, 1964 in Bloomington, Indiana. He spent many of his younger years living in Germany and Russia, and often shared fond memories of his experiences there. In his later years, he settled down in Utah with his family.

Stephen weathered many storms in his life. Through his hardships, he anchored himself to his faith and to hope.

Memories were precious to Stephen. One of the gifts he left behind for his family was an immense collection of photos, videos, and documents from the lives of his family members. We will cherish these artifacts for generations to come.

Stephen was a passionate person with a creative mind. He enriched his life with numerous hobbies and interests. He loved computers, games, movies, learning, and researching his family history, all interests that he passed down to his children. He enjoyed being involved in his community, spending many hours volunteering at a local bike collective, hosting film nights for his friends, and participating in his church.

Stephen had a strong connection to and love of music. Rob Gardner's Lamb of God, in particular, held a special place in his heart. At one point in his life, he had the opportunity to contribute to a local music group’s production of Lamb of God, for which he created the phrase “His Life, Our Hope.” These words meant so much to him, and he kept them on prominent display in his home.

Stephen had a big heart and cared deeply for his family and friends. Family was the most important thing to Stephen. We hold many loving memories close to us and will miss him greatly.

Stephen is survived by his parents, siblings, and children.
