Stephen DuPont, 48, passed away on March 3, 2025, in Worcester, Massachusetts. Born on November 26, 1976, in Worcester, he spent his life in the community that shaped him.

Stephen was the beloved father of Cassandra DuPont, Stephanie DuPont, and John Michael DuPont. His children were the center of his world, and he will be deeply missed by them. He is also survived by his siblings Robbie DuPont, Leonard DuPont, Brenda (DuPont) Garrison, and Jesse DuPont; his aunts and uncles Roxanne Schofield, Robert O'Conner, and Gary Ballard (a family friend); as well as many cousins. He shared meaningful connections with Wendy Mitchell, the mother of two of his children, and Stacey Melanson, his ex-wife and the mother of his oldest daughter.

Stephen was predeceased by his parents, Leonard DuPont Sr. and Jane Pullin; his aunts Sandra Harris and Elaine Rivers; his uncles Francis O'Connor, James Chesna, and Patrick O'Connor; and his grandmother Mary Chesna.

Throughout his life, Stephen faced challenges with addiction. His struggle was a difficult one, but it does not define the love he had for those around him. His passing is a heartbreaking reminder of the impact of addiction—a disease that affects so many individuals and families.

Though gone too soon, Stephen’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May his loved ones find comfort in their memories of him.
