We mournfully announce the passing of Stephen "Alex" Alexander Bair Britton, 33, of Leander, TX. Alex passed away on June 21, 2022.

Alex was born to Stephen and Lori Britton on June 25, 1988 in Puyallup, Washington. Alex resided in Puyallup for 14 years until relocating to Leander, Texas with his family. 

Alex attended Vista Ridge High School in Cedar Park, Texas. Alex's biggest passion in life was music and spending time with his friends. A kick-ass drummer, he spent countless hours perfecting his talent. Alex played in a number of bands, including Southern Hostility, and was always surrounded by a great group of friends.

Alex is survived by his father and mother, Stephen and Lori Britton, his sister Andrea Carsten and her husband Benjamin, and his sister Sydney Britton, fiancé David Kontz, and their son Grayson Kontz. 

Donations can be made to The Music Project in honor of Alex. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at Fern Bluff Community Center at 2pm on Sunday, August 28th, 2022.
