Stephanie Ann Tascone - Oddo, age 70, passed on October 15, 2022, in Laguna Niguel, CA. She was born on October 28, 1951, to Frederick and Elaine (Kan) Tascone in Bradford, PA. In 1969, Steph graduated from Mona Shores High School in Norton Shores, MI and in 1973, graduated from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI. She relocated to the Chicago, IL area where she started a career teaching elementary school. In August of 1976, Steph married Salvatore (Sam) Oddo of Chicago at St. Francis De Sales in Norton Shores. They relocated to St. Louis, MO where she continued her apply teaching skills. In March of 1981, the young family was transferred to Orange County, CA. Steph pursued a new career and became a registered nurse at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA. For the next 32 years she was instrumental in the delivery and care of hundreds of new born infants. She also had a key role in the implementation of electronic medical records at this trauma rated hospital. Steph was active in the local church and schools during her children's educational years. She enjoyed hiking along the local beaches and in Yosemite National Park. She is survived by her loving husband , Sam, 4 children, Matthew (Lizbeth), Andrew (Jennifer), Nicole (Jason) and Daniel Prus (Barbara), 3 brothers, Mark (Michele), James and Thomas, Stepmother, Sandra Tascone and eight grand children. She was preceded in death by her parents. Steph cherished her role as mother and motivated her children to fully utilize their God given gifts and always believe in themselves. She always brought life and excitement to every gathering and had a loving magnetic personality. Her burial and celebration of life will take place on Friday, June 02, 2023, at 1:30 pm at St. Mary's Cemetery in Muskegon, MI followed by a luncheon at St Francis De Sales Church in Norton Shores where the family invites all to continue her celebration of life. Donations can be made in Steph's name to St Francis De Sales Church and/or your choice of a cancer research organization.
