The first time I really spent with Steff was training her on payroll at Juvenile Hall. I was showing her things I’m sure she was already familiar with since she backed up that position before on the weekends. While I was training her, she was giving me a bunch of great stories. She knew everyone at work and everything about them. Her stories weren’t gossip, they were legends, fables, myths, adventures.  Her stories combined what she knew with her style and matter of fact attitude along with nicknames and references from the 80s. Steff’s story time was continuous part of my job when I work with her. It was frequently the highlight of my day. I went on to find that she didn’t just have great stories but also a great heart for other people. She was a great friend to many people and I am so grateful I was one of them.
Stephanie was a very caring and active parent at Saints Peter and Paul School in San Francisco when Sabrina was a student.  For a good number of those years I was vice-principal of the school.  What I remember most was the way her whole life revolved around Sabrina's well-being.  Stephanie was a great parent.  She never spoiled Sabrina but she helped her to develop her character by the fine example she gave her.  If one of Stephanie's many qualities stands out in my mind, it would be her kind generosity!  She never held back from offering her services and she did so with enthusiasm and grace.  I consider her friendship to be one of God's precious gifts in my own life.

Dear Santander, family

I am so very sorry for the loss of Stephanie death brings an unbearable pain to our lives and as times passes all that is left is a gaping hole that seems will never be closed. I wanted to share a magnificent hope that God has in store for mankind. A beautiful promise that will soon be fulfilled and rejoice the heart of many. John 5:28,29 says Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. Soon that gaping hole that is left will be closed and filled with the loving embrace of Stephanie, May this promise give hope you and strength to continue..

I worked with Steff at Pacific Bell, she was the sweetest, I have a daughter her age,  I don't know if Sabrina remembers, the book her mom says she gave me Goldie is Mad, I am rarely mad, but I love the book, you have my deepest sympathy,  prayers for the family.

Rock and I, were sad when we heard the news of Steff's passing. She was a nice, generous, funny, and sassy lady. She will be missed.❤️
