Stephanie Annette Smith, age 81 of Parker, Colorado, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 24, 2019. She was born to the late Delphine Just Dumont and Mable Ellen Evans on January 15, 1938.

Survivors include her five children. William Jensen Mitchell, II, Randel Lee Mitchell, Cynthia Rene (Mitchell) Cutler, Troy Evans Mitchell and Shannon Ray (Mitchell) Payne. Stephanie was predeceased by her brother Delphin James Dumont. Survived by her sister Joyce Elaine (Dumont) Thompson. She also had several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Our mom was very open minded and she shared that with her kids and grandkids. (Cindy)

Not only was she an artist by skill, she was an artist at capturing people's hearts and warming them with her smile. Forever in my heart love you mom. (Randy)

Mom taught me how to be strong, independent and carry my own beliefs. No matter what other people thought. (Shannon)

Stephanie requested donation of her body to science so she could help others to find a cure for disease. The family will gather for a balloon release in a park in her honor this spring.

The family gives everyone that visited and cared for her their greatest and warmest gratitude.
