Stephanie's obituary

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the untimely departure of Stephanie Herritt-Ward, who passed away on October 24, 2017. Born on June 10, 1981, Stephanie spent her 36 years of life creating wonderful memories and touching every soul she came into contact with.

Stephanie's vibrant personality was reflected in her love for arts and crafts, baking, and helping her community, hobbies she passionately cultivated. She could bring any craft to life, make the yummiest of desserts, even the soberest of hues, though her favorite was always purple,  and she was fond of chocolate.. a color and treat that truly reflected the joy she carried in her heart.

Stephanie had a knack for making everyone around her feel loved and valued, always living by the maxim 'Treat others how you would want to be treated'. She was recognized by all as a kind, caring, funny, and witty woman, who turned simple everyday moments into ones full of laughter and joy. Her beautiful smile and endless wisdom are assets that made her stand out in any crowd and will be remembered undyingly.

The void left by Stephanie can never be filled. She is survived by her son, Lucas Ward, her daughter, Jenna Herritt, and her sister, Bree Adams; her many friends such as Sheila Gard, who will lovingly carry her legacy of kindness. As we mourn her loss, we vow to keep her benevolent spirit alive in our hearts and actions, as we honor the incredible woman that she was.

While we navigate this difficult time of grief, we take solace in the memories of Stephanie's precious life. Her presence is truly missed, but her spirit lives on - in every painted canvas, every act of kindness, and every heartfelt laughter.
